Jennifer Mayfield is a researcher, analyst, and communications professional specializing in international relations and environmental policy. She holds a BA in International Studies and Political Science with a minor in Spanish from Elmira College and a Dual MA in International Relations and Environmental Studies from Boston University. Her Master's thesis at BU examined domestic and international forestry policy and forest economics in modern Japan.
Currently, Jennifer works as a consultant and intern at a marketing and design firm that specializes in environmental and other nonprofit organizations. She is actively searching for new career opportunities. Her passions and areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, environmental sociology and anthropology, forest governance, climate change policy, REDD+, indigenous and local communities, international economics, and development.
